Endotoxin removal filters are primarily constructed of a pleated nylon membrane. The membrane has been specially constructed to carry a positive charge; designed so that when endotoxins (negatively charged) attempt to pass through the cartridge, they are removed from the water stream. Pearl Filtration’s EndoPlus filter cartridges have a proven and published endotoxin removal capability.
Filter cartridge support and end-caps are constructed of polypropylene. Filter membrane is nylon, with a positive charge.
Endotoxin cartridge outer diameter is 2.5″ to suit standard and sanitary filter housings. Range of end-cap styles and gasket materials (EPDM, Silicone) available. Endotoxin removal filters are available in lengths: 10″, 20″, 30″, 40″

In addition to filtering endotoxins, nylon membrane filters (in 0.2 micron) have the capability to remove bacteria from liquid, similar to our PES cartridge range.
Pearl Filtration’s EndoPlus filter cartridge is capable of producing endotoxin-free water, a requirement for certain hospital applications, and recommended for Australian dental surgeries.
