Due to the viscosity and nature of honey, most producers find it preferable to install a specialised honey filter bag – which Pearl Filtration manufacture within our Melbourne facility. High quality filter housing used widely in the honey industry. Variety of Inlet/Outlet ports available, in BSP and tri-clover, with the option for adaptors or fabrication to BSM.
Filter Bags
A specially selected monofilament for the filter bag allows for enhanced flow and more effective filtration. Honey does not stick so easily to the filter bag, leaving the bag’s pores free to filter uninhibited. Filter bags are available in a wide variety of micron ratings.
