Pearl Filtration’s CBC series Carbon Block Cartridges are predominantly designed to reduce chlorine content in drinking water. Carbon cartridges are manufactured from a coconut based activated carbon, encased in a polypropylene mesh shell to prevent possible contamination of carbon fines.
Carbon filter cartridges are effective at reducing; organic chemicals, chlorine, odour, and improving taste. Efficiency increases at a lower flow rate. They are not primarily designed for the removal of particulate, and therefore a suitable pre-filter should be selected.
Carbon cartridge filters can be used to treat; chemicals, food and beverages, and are commonly used for potable water treatment.
Cartridge outer diameter is 2.5″ to suit standard filter housings. Cartridges available in lengths: 10″, 20″, 30″, 40″
