EXTENDED LIFE BAGS

extended life filter bags

Pearl Filtration’s extended life filter bags are estimated to extend the life of a standard bag filter between 18 – 30 %, depending on the application. Standard long life filters are constructed of a fully welded design, and are equipped with a plastic collar. Available in polyester or polypropylene filter media, in either standard size 1 or size 2.

The extended life is achieved with the design of a dual filtration layer. The primary layer is an unsinged media; where all pore openings are unblocked, which slows down the formation of filter cakes thus extending the bag’s service life. The secondary layer is a spunbond material which acts as a protective cover and prevents any loose fibre contamination.

Extended life bags are ideal for filtering chemicals and oils, paints and coatings, solvents, or water treatment.
