Backwashable filter cartridges are constructed with a specialised support and pleated structure designed to enhance the filters backwash cleaning capabilities. Backwashing can improve the cartridges service life, however its effectiveness may vary dependant on the application.
Entire cartridge (including media, support, end-caps) is constructed of polypropylene. Backwashable filter cartridges are well suited for food & beverages and brewing applications.
Cartridge outer diameter is 2.5″ to suit standard filter housings. Range of end-cap styles and gasket materials (EPDM, Silicone, Viton) available. Backwashable filter cartridges are available in lengths: 30″ & 40″
