Baffle filters are designed for use in commercial kitchens and restaurants. The unique ‘baffles’ are specially configured to reduce the grease content entering a kitchen canopy or exhaust system, while offering highly effective flame barrier protection.

Compared to honeycomb grease filters, baffle filters operate at a high pressure drop, which does require a greater fan capacity. For commercial kitchens that are unable to provide the necessary fan capacity, it is recommended either an aluminium or stainless steel honeycomb be installed instead, providing the application does not require the superior flame barrier protection that only baffle filters can provide.
Pearl Filtration’s baffle filters are available in stainless steel construction, meaning they are dishwasher safe (with compatible cleaning solutions).

Coalescent mesh filters are available in either aluminium or stainless steel (304/316).
