Pearl Filtration are an Australian supplier of sterilisation filter cartridges and housings designed for air and gas streams. Filters are suitable for many sterile applications including; fermentation inlet and outlet air, venting, lyophilisers & freeze-driers, autoclaves, blow-fill-seal equipment, and removing particles from air.

Housings

Stainless steel housings to suit sterilisation cartridges are available with tri-clover ports in lengths; 5″, 10″, 20″, 30″, 40″. Housing seals are typically 226/Spear. Specialised vent housings are also available.

 

Cartridges

Sterile air cartridges are constructed of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane filter medium, validated to sterilisation grades 0.2 micron in liquid and 0.01 micron in gas. All cartridges are fully validated to aerosol and viral challenge. Filter cartridges are integrity testable by all methods including Water Intrusion Test. A range of sizes, end-caps, and O-ring materials are available.

Pearl Filtration offer an Integrity Testing Service for several of our cartridge filter products. Integrity Testing is an essential requirement of critical process applications. Testing can be conducted upon filter supply or site visits throughout Australia can be arranged.

Our filtration range includes products suitable for treating air and steam lines. We stock filter cartridges and housings for removing aerosols or particulate from compressed air lines, and stainless steel filter elements for steam treatment.

 

We also supply filter socks for dust collection systems in a range of different materials.
