Glass Fibre Cartridges have a continuous pleated structure and a large filter surface area. They provide a lower pressure drop when compared to polypropylene pleated cartridges, and also feature greater temperature resistance and different chemical compatibilities.
Cartridge is constructed of hydrophilic fibreglass media, with a polypropylene support cage, end-cap, and core. Can be used in the filtration of; acids and alkalies, milk, beer, wine, pharmaceutical, water treatment and processing. Fibreglass cartridges are also used as a pre-filter to a sterilisation membrane.
Cartridge outer diameter is 2.5″ to suit standard filter housings. Range of end-cap styles and gasket materials (Buna-N, EPDM, Silicone, Viton) available. Cartridges available in lengths: 10″, 20″, 30″, 40″
