Bag Filters are a low cost method of filtration. Filter bags are a preferable alternative to cartridge filtration for applications with a high flow rate, high temperature, or a highly viscous liquid. Pearl Filtration stock and manufacture a wide range of filter bag sizes and offer nominal micron ratings in either needlefelt or monofilament filter media.
Standard filter bags are equipped with either a plastic collar or stainless steel metal ring to positively seal within the filter housing. All standard bag filters have a handle for quick and simple removal and disposal.
Filter bags are ideal for many industries and applications including; chemical, dairy, food & beverage, paints & coatings, pharmaceutical, and water & wastewater treatment.

Polyester Polypropylene
Needlefelt is typically 2 mm thick designed to trap particles throughout the depth of the media. The options of polyester or polypropylene allow a broad chemical and temperature compatibility range. Filter bag construction can be either welded or sewn. Plastic collar or stainless steel ring options available.
Micron rating range: 0.5, 1, 3, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 200
Woven Monofilament Bags
Nylon Polyester
Monofilament is a mesh style material that filters particles at the surface of the media. Single strands of material are woven together to form a consistent pore size and high mechanical strength. Available in either nylon or polyester to cover a wide range of chemical compatibilities. Stitched filter bag construction. Plastic collar or stainless steel ring options available.
Micron rating range: 50, 80, 100, 125, 150, 180, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 1000, 1250
Standard bag filters are stocked in all the below sizes. Option of either plastic collar or stainless steel ring.
