Filter Integrity Testing is an essential requirement of critical process applications, common in the pharmaceutical or food & beverage industries. It is a necessary part of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) to ensure a cartridge filter is performing to its specifications. Filter cartridges are often tested both prior and after their use, to accurately validate their performance over their intended lifespan. Integrity testing can also be used for troubleshooting or routine filter monitoring.
Pearl Filtration offer a filter integrity testing service for cartridge filter products, such as; PES Membrane, Capsule Filters, and Sterile Air Vent Filters. We integrity test both our own filter cartridges as well as competitors’ products; including (but not limited to): Pall, Millipore and Sartorius.
Pearl Filtration have the capability to perform the following integrity tests:

- Pressure decay integrity testing
- Water intrusion integrity testing
- Bubble point integrity testing
- Aerosol challenge integrity testing
All results are presented in a written report, which includes Calibration Certification.
