Pearl Filtration’s ME series Mist Eliminator is a specialised coalescent mesh filter effective at removing moisture from air and gas streams. Oil mist, water mist, vapours, and salt laden coastal air mist will all be significantly reduced by a Mist Eliminator filter. Mist Eliminator filters are ideal for first stage separation in an intake system affected by a high moisture content. They have the highest retention rating of any other Pearl Filtration coalescent filter, estimated to achieve a 20 micron filtration efficiency of 97 % at 2.54 m/s.
Manufactured in Bayswater, Mist Eliminator filters are entirely constructed of either 304 or 316 stainless steel. The filter contains up to 15 layers of woven stainless steel mesh to act as a coalescent. Mist Eliminator filters have standard sizes, but can be designed to custom dimensions.
