Coalescent Mesh Filters are installed to reduce oil, grease, and moisture content in a ventilation system. Mesh filters are typically manufactured in either aluminium or stainless steel.
Pearl Filtration manufacture three styles of coalescent mesh filter:
- Rangehood Filters: Designed for domestic or light commercial kitchen canopies. Manufactured from aluminium. Available in 10 mm nominal thickness.
- Baffle Filters: Commercial kitchen filter that provides flame barrier protection as well as grease reduction. Available in stainless steel.
- Honeycomb Filters: Economical filter designed for commercial kitchen hoods. Available in aluminium or stainless steel.
- Grease Filters: Reduces oil, grease, and fat content from a ventilation system. Manufactured in aluminium or stainless steel (304/316). Available in 50 mm nominal thickness.
- Mist Eliminator: Our highest efficiency coalescent with considerably more pleated mesh than alternative filters. Oil mist, water mist, salt laden coastal air mist, and vapours will be significantly reduced by a Mist Eliminator. Manufactured in stainless steel (304/316) or aluminium. Available in 50 mm nominal thickness.
Many of our coalescent mesh filter products are manufactured within our plant in Bayswater, VIC, with Australian Made certification.

Pearl Filtration supply honeycomb and baffle filters to a large and varied field of commercial kitchens. Our products are washable, and can be cleaned with our specially designed filter cleaning powder. Common customers include: bakeries, bistros, cafés, pubs, restaurants and taverns.
