Filter Media
Pearl Filtration manufacture filter bags utilising a variety of different filter medias, to offer solutions for various chemical compatibilities and/or high temperature applications.
Our media is available to purchase in roll lengths, or can be cut to size.
Standard filtration media includes non-woven needlefelt, and woven monofilament.
Available materials include: nylon, polyester and polypropylene.

Non-woven needlefelt available in polyester and polypropylene.
Needlefelt filter medias are approximately 2mm thick, and filter through the depth of the media, making them suitable for fine filtration down to 1 micron.
Felt is singed on one side to prevent downstream contamination. Variant needlefelts are available in unsinged or anti-static.

Woven monofilament filter media is available in a range of different materials to satisfy a variety of chemical and temperature conditions.
The media features strands of a high mechanical strength to ensure a consistent pore size. Filtration takes place at the surface of the mesh.

Mosquito netting is a strong and flexible mesh, made from a lightweight polyester.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Effective as a netting to keep out mosquitos, bugs, flies and other insects. Select customised filter bags utilise mosquito netting mesh in their construction.
