Overview

Pearl Filtration stock a range of pleated filter cartridges to suit 4.5″ Big Blue filter housings. Big Blue pleated cartridges offer some distinct advantages when compared to melt-blown depth filtration; pleated cartridges have a higher filtration surface area, meaning they operate at lower pressure drops and therefore provide extended service lives, particularly for water treatment. Additionally, pleated cartridges are available in sub-micron ratings, for applications that require accurate filtration.

Micron ratings are available from 0.45 micron to 100 micron. Big Blue filter cartridges are ideally suited for water filtration, with media constructions of either polypropylene (0.45 micron) or polyester (1-100 micron).
